About Us:
Moonbow Doulas is a small collective of women who are passionate about caring for your mind, body and soul. A moonbow, or lunar rainbow, is a rare spiritual phenomena which symbolizes hope, transformation, and possibility. It also has a unique connection to the moon's feminine and nurturing energy. We strive daily to create a sacred space where women can learn, grow, and heal, and we live in the possibility of what can be created when we lovingly journey through this life together.
Ashley and Danielle work together with expectant families to ensure the best possible care. We attend all prenatal visits as a team and answer any questions/concerns, while also helping you plan your desired birth.
Ashley Kile: Ashley is an advocate for women's health with a passion to educate, care for, and connect with women in her community and around the world. With a social work degree, she has spent the past twenty years supporting families in schools, hospitals and churches. In addition to work in the private sector, she works as a community doula/ case manager for a non-profit to ensure parents and children in NJ have access to basic needs, including health care, and believes with her whole being that no one should experience pregnancy or birth alone.
She is a wife and mother to three beautiful babies. Her path to doula work began with her first high risk pregnancy and was blessed to experience the love and support from her childbirth educator and a midwife. Ashley's second baby was welcomed into world through a peaceful homebirth, which further shaped her understanding of the innate power and wisdom that women hold within.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys traveling with her family, and fostering litters of puppies for a local rescue. Her family is her inspiration and joy.
Danielle Oxley: Danielle is a mother, a licensed dental hygienist, and a passionate postpartum doula who brings a holistic, natural-minded approach to everything she does. Rooted in her own experiences of motherhood, she is deeply committed to supporting women as they transition into this new and sacred role. Danielle is a baby whisperer and brings a calming presence into any room she enters. She has an empathetic touch and an innate ability to help families feel seen and supported.
She, along with her husband, are raising their four wonderful children. With three older boys and a young daughter, Danielle understands the importance of not just building a network of feminine support, but also engaging boys/men/partners/fathers in honest and empowering dialogues so they can care for the women in their life.
